DESIGN ART OPEN CALL 2027

We are pleased to invite you to submit a proposal for participation in the Design Art Pavilion at Freshpaint Art Fair 2027!

Following the success of the pavilion at the 2026 fair, it will return this year as part of the upcoming fair, taking place in Tel Aviv in spring 2027.

The pavilion is dedicated to one-of-a-kind pieces and limited editions at the intersection of art and design works with conceptual depth, material exploration, and a distinctive, well developed creative language, created outside the framework of industrial mass production.

Submission deadline:

Wednesday, October 14, 2026

What are we looking for?

  • One-of-a-kind pieces or limited editions of up to 5 copies
  • New or recent works that have not yet received significant exposure in Israel, with preference given to works created especially for the fair
  • Works with conceptual value, with an emphasis on process, material, and technique
  • Functionality, or functional thinking, as part of the creative process
  • A distinctive professional language and a mature creative practice
  • Only works priced above 5,000 NIS may be submitted

About the Pavilion

The Design Art Pavilion is curated and managed by Freshpaint Fair curatorial team, with Maya Dvash joining as guest curator.

Works will be evaluated based on their quality, conceptual depth, relevance to the selected theme, and their relationship to the field of Design Art.

Every exhibitor in the Pavilion will receive:

  • Professional curatorial guidance
  • Production of the presentation in the Pavilion
  • Sales management by the Fresh Paint team, with no need for exhibitors to be physically present
  • Exposure through the fair’s overall marketing and PR activities and events
  • A presence on the fair’s website

Participation & Sales Model

Participation in the Pavilion is based on a small participation fee and a sales commission, following a curatorial and commercial model similar to Design Art platforms at international art fairs.

Participation fee: 750 NIS + VAT
Sales commission at the fair: 40% (sales are managed by the Freshpaint team)

Please note:

The participation fee will only be charged if the submitted work is selected for presentation in the Pavilion.

For works selected for the Pavilion, Freshpaint will retain the exclusive right to promote their sale for six months following the end of the fair. If a work is sold during this period, the sales commission will be 35%.

Proposals should be submitted via the link, with one PDF file only.

If you are submitting multiple works, please arrange the PDF so that each work has its own dedicated page.
