Upward Project
In this project, the designers found comfort in the sky, as well as wonder, pause, and deep inspiration during difficult moments. The upward gaze is both physical and contemplative, asking open-ended questions about infinity, faith, and freedom. Shkufim create imagery centered on the sky - clouds, stars, eyes, birds, wings - using a variety of glass techniques. The sculptural objects are functional and designed for the home environment.
