Hodaya Ben Eliyahu

Hodaya ben Eliyahu is a glass artist based in Jerusalem and a graduate of the Department of Ceramic and Glass Design at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Her work draws inspiration from the natural world and is characterized by realism, vibrant color, and meticulous craftsmanship.This project comprises a series of goblets and a small vessel in the form of strawberries, created through borosilicate glass blowing and hand-sculpting with a torch. The pieces are formed using molds made from real strawberries, transferring the fruit’s texture onto the glass with remarkable precision. Through the intersection of design and sculpture, the works explore the relationships between nature, material, and function, offering a playful and poetic perspective on everyday objects.
