Fresh Paint is unique in its role as a launch pad for the careers of promising, unrepresented artists. The Independent Artists’ Greenhouse section of Fresh Paint showcases the works of such artists. The exhibition of their works alongside established contemporary art galleries enables these artists to introduce themselves to curators, gallery owners, collectors and the public at large, while selling their work and enjoying the fruits of their labor and talent. The fair's independent artists participate in Fresh Paint’s special projects, both during and after the fair, and are automatically considered for the prizes and competitions awarded at the fair. All works by Fresh Paint 3’s independent artists were available for purchase at the fair. The revenue for these works was passed directly to the artists on a commission-free basis.
